it feels like forever ago that i met ryan + charlotte.
a lot can happen, change, or evolve over time. so when i first sit down with couples about their wedding + what they ultimately see for their day, i listen with the knowledge that any of it can change between that moment + their actual wedding day.

but not ryan + charlotte. they have had a clear dream for their wedding day since i met them. it had nothing to do with specifics + everything to do with the bigger picture.
it would be about family.
it would be about love.
it was everything they described over coffee that first day.
+ it was perfect.

since meeting them, i got to see where charlotte lived + was dropped off after her first date with ryan when we did their engagement session.
i was there as they exchanged very personal gifts on their wedding day. gifts that said few loud + obvious words about love, but instead whispered deep connections + stories so meaningful to them.
i was able to capture a few quiet moments of ryan + his daughter practicing their special dance for the reception.
i got to see the priceless look on ryan’s face when he first saw charlotte appear with her dad on the porch before walking down the aisle.
+ so much more.

sure the flowers were beautiful, daveste vineyards was a gorgeous backdrop for their vows and her dress… well you know how i feel about lace. but the moments… they are what i live for + this couple did not disappoint.
