Things to consider BEFORE your session:
Drink lots of water and get good sleep the day before our session.
Manicure/Pedicure as applicable.
For traditional headshots, this isn’t as necessary but sometimes you will see your hands. Doesn’t have to be professional but consider using/bringing lotion, try to avoid chipped nail polish, etc.
Please do not do any extensive facial procedures such as micro needling, etc.
Some of these procedures take days if not weeks to fully heal (and would need extensive photoshop work).
Prepare a list of shots you want included.
For example you have 6 departments and you would like a photo of each department or maybe you want small group photos of the owners/managers/administrators etc. Please include names in your list if possible.
Please let me know if there are any delicate situations to be aware of such as people not to place next to each other, physical insecurities, sensitive relationships, etc. Feel free to reach out to me directly with the form on this page if you’d like to be discrete.
Things to consider BRINGING to your session:
Chapstick even for those not used to wearing it.
Definitely makes lips look better for pictures when they are moisturized.
Bring essentials for touch ups.
(ie. brush/comb, hairspray, mirror, makeup, toothbrush/floss)
Daily Business Items for props.
(ie. laptop, cell phone, notebook, coffee cup)
Clothing/Accessories
For headshots/team headshots: consider bringing a jacket, scarf, necklace, sweater, something you can implement quickly. This will allow for more variety in an efficient way. For more in-depth brand sessions we can discuss outfit changes.
Steamer
Lint Roller
Brand Details/Assets Any promotional items or print marketing you may want photographed, letterhead, business cards, mailers, signs, pens, hats, shirts etc.
Glasses
Glasses can be tricky! Often times, it is best to actually remove the lenses to avoid any glare at all. If you are able to do this, excellent, but I understand this requires you to bring the tools to loosen your glasses, etc. This isn’t absolutely necessary however, wearing glasses, some glare will occur but we will work to minimize it as much as possible.
