I started calling my photoshoots with families "Backyard Sessions" a few years ago because that is how I want you to approach our time together, like you playing in your backyard together. Be focused on making some memories, laughing, putting everything else aside for just the short amount of time we are together and love on your loved ones. If you do anything you can to make the people with you smile, I promise, it will be worth it. You may even create a memory that sticks with them forever.

While you are busy making memories being goofy, snuggling or whatever, I'll be doing my thing watching, anticipating, and capturing moments of joy, contentment, love, silliness, belly laughs, and more.

All of that to say: treat this time together like we are in your own backyard, even if we are somewhere else. Be yourselves and have fun. I'll do the rest!
