I want to tell true stories. Beautiful stories. Stories with scuff marks. Ones that radiate joy and embrace imperfection.
I believe life is too short to try to be someone else. I want you to let go of everything you think a photoshoot SHOULD be and be you. Many of the photos we are taking are not just for you, they are for your kids. Your nieces. Your grandsons. Your friends. For the people who come after you. They may only ever know you by these photos, so the question is, how well do you want them to know you?

What if they hate it?
Every artist has sat in front of a piece of work and thought “oh wow. I love something about this. It just feels special.” Followed immediately by hesitation to share.
What if no one likes it?
What if they think “is she for real with this?”
I think those things all the time. But I always try to come back to myself and remember to share for me and how I see the world. It’s the best way to ever explain what it’s like inside my head.
