i have so much to share and so little time to do it. but sometimes i just want to drop all the behind the scenes editing and show you a few things i haven’t even had a chance to touch yet. and i can’t wait to get my hands on this uptown wedding.
now, i love a good outdoor bohemian ceremony with a rustic, casual reception. but not everyone gets married outside. not everyone can. for instance, the wedding i’m editing now was in a church and the reception was one of the most fun receptions i’ve ever been to, as a photographer or as a guest. i could do a whole blog post just from the dance floor pictures. in fact, maybe i will.
and the wedding below isn’t one of those barefoot, backyard events either. it was uptown.
uptown pushes me outside my comfort zone.
it pushes me to really look at what is around me and make it work.
it pushes me to get creative.
it pushes me to find ways to make you understand a couple’s story even more when i can show you why, even the location they chose, says a lot about who they are and what they love about where they are in their life right now.
kim and i had a blast photographing this wedding. i CANNOT wait to share more. but i have one more wedding to finish before i can even start editing it.
